NOTICE -
As
of February 2009, I have put an amount of US$2
nominal fee to send each drawing, this has been
brought on by a large volume of multi requests, (some asking
for up to 40 drawings per email ) and in an effort to
keep things rolling, and also to reduce such requests I have
found this to be necessary..
This
will come into effect as of March 1st 2009
If you are unsure
as to the amount, email
me and ask.
I have also lifted the restriction of the Minimum number of
drawings that can be send out, provided your email address can
handle the sizes, all within reason of course, so don't ask for
the lot as some have done. There's no charge for sending photos,
or Technical Manual drawings.
*****UNDERSTAND
THIS*****
These drawings are for personal
use, they cannot be re-transmitted, copied, or used by a second
person without prior approval.*Not for Commercial
Production. All Drawings are Copyright, with the usual
restrictions applying.
JeepDraw.....
To be or not to be, that is the question
You
do me a disservice by forwarding the drawing to a friend, if you
do, and I find out, JeepDraw will be closed permanently.
If you do, I will publish your name right here, and you can
answer the abusive emails from those who you have just cheated
out of ever receiving any drawing in the future.
I
choose who I send the drawings to, and I have the last say on
the matter.
I
have no problem with you taking the drawings to a fabricator to
have them make you the part, provided that fabricator does not
make more than is required for your vehicle. Understand this
fully. If you do not agree with this do not ask for a drawing,
if you request a drawing it's assumed you have read this and
understood it completely.
If all this is
confusing to you or if a Drawing is not listed, Email
me, I might be working on it, or it may not be listed.. When requesting
drawings, copy and paste the complete drawing name, including
the *.gif or Pdf name if applicable, into the Request Form.
This helps to locate them in the library, and avoids delays in
sending emails. If all this confuses you, or you have any
questions email me. Should you require Photos, to help with
construction, Frank, Alasdair, Claude, Mike, and many, many
others have sent me pics of parts constructed from the drawings
and of Original Parts that could help, so feel free to ask when
requesting drawings. My apologies for not mentioning everyone.
Remember Feedback on the drawings helps everyone. Enjoy
Open
the Request Form in a new Tab, Copy and paste into that
your drawing list INCLUDING the *.gif name from the Sections
below. I need the gif name to find the drawing in my files, if
you don't include the gif name, I cannot process your request
without a long delay while I search for them.

Florida & SF bay Area 1946 .While the SF lists do not show Serial Number and USA
number....part of them show serial number and motor number....some
show just the serial number and some show just the USA number....all
of this is good information though. At the very least some owners
will know where there jeep was when it was sold off since some list
the specific base they were located on.
The Jacksonville list
shows jeep serial numbers AND the USA number for many jeeps! In
addition it lists Harleys, GMCs, Internationals, Carry-Alls,
Cushmans, Trailers and other Vehicles --------- FLORIDA

"Ode
To Bubba"
Bubba
is Important
Just remember Bubba in your Prayers.
...Bubba (Earl or Fred... he goes by many names) stands just
behind the guy who stored his old jeep in a nice dry spot in
some far flung shed, ready for some aspiring restorer to come
along and fall in love and bring the "old girl" back
to original......On the other hand, you have those who left the
"old girl" out in the rain, snow, dust and mud, and
she slowly rusted away so no one could restore it.....Then you
have Bubba, a giant of a man, he kept the jeep going all those
years with bits of wire, angle iron, do-hickeys, and "add
on's", modifications, slap happy welds, and the good Lord
only knows what else. BUT!!....what he did was save it for the adventurous restorer to remove all those things....so next
time you pick up an old wreck Bubba has played with, be
thankful. it could have been far worse....Raise a glass of
frothy stuff to Bubba, the unsung hero of the jeep....no matter
how much we loath his handiwork...without him, half of us
wouldn't have a jeep today. '
So
"Thank You Bubba"...you saved a jeep for me.
